Most of us have learnt a foreign language at some point in our lives.

Is this enough for producing a legal translation?

No!

Legal translations require the utmost in precision. The slightest mistake can have serious unintended consequences. For legal translations always use a qualified legal translator. I have 20 years of experience as a translator (translating from English, French and Italian into German) and as an attorney in government administration and private practice. (archiv.org swiss-advocate ).

I specialize in translating texts from English, French and Italian into German.

For other sorts of language configurations I work in close cooperation with colleagues who are native speakers of the languages involved.

I review my translations with the greatest of care and use a variety of proofreading and editing software.
